While the two women in my life took a nap, I worked on Lindy’s collage. At first I was bummed that we couldn’t take every photograph in the same spot, but now I like it more. It tells the story of where we lived and what we were doing while she was pregnant.
Remember our pregnancy chalkboard? Well this is what happened 2 days after our week 37 chalkboard.
So, as you can see Lindy is still smiling and not in hard labor because she is mischievous enough to post pictures of me on tumblr while I am sleeping.
She got little to no sleep last night, but we now have contractions that are about 5-8 minutes apart. We should be seeing the doctor in the next hour or so and we’ll know more then.
The nurses have been great and this facility has been incredible so far.
Stay tuned.
And we should be having a baby in the next 18-24 hours. Right now, Lindy is hungry for a turkey burger, some family is en route, and Ashtyn is head down and doing great!
Lindy’s water breaks early this morning. She sends me out to get breakfast and some last minute items for the hospital. I come back home from the grocery store 20 minutes after leaving the house and I am disappointed when there is no baby yet. Bahaha.
We’re off to the hospital in a bit. Wish us luck!
Day 1 of ‘Project Nursery’ is complete. All I have to do tomorrow is finish off the chair rail and do some cleanup and then we will be ready for furniture and decorating.
HUGE THANKS to my good friend Jon for helping me with the project, I couldn’t have done it without you man. I can’t believe you dragged your ass over to my house after working all day to help me with Ashtyn’s room.
When I am all done I’ll post pictures, but for now I am going to shower and get some rest.
I hope my little princess loves her room as much as her mommy does :)
Don’t tell your pregnant wife that you are ready to take her for her walk. She may interpret that as being treated like a house pet and she may punch, hit, or pinch you. Resulting in a deserved injury.
